Jediskilz173 takes the plunge into J-RPG mediocrity with a review for Enchanted Arms for the Xbox 360. Crisp, beautiful 720p video inside - complete with mangled English voice acting.
Eric a.k.a. Jediskilz173 has put together a new review for Enchanted Arms, the first Japanese RPG for the North American Xbox 360. As will be standard, you can find 720p video from Eric's server linked below along with streaming video for the pussies.

Eric says:

"Enchanted Arms for the Xbox 360 is one of the few Japanese-style role-playing games on that system. That, coupled with the fact that it has a pretty unique battle system, saves it from being an otherwise mediocre game. Something just isn't quite right with the graphics and the way the environments were done. They got the geometry all right, they got the lighting spot-on, but overall the world just seems pretty lifeless. Speaking of lifeless, the English voice-acting is completely terrible. The actors seemed like they really didn't rehearse at all. Maybe every 10-15 seconds you will get a random battle, and it's kind of frustrating when you're just trying to backtrack through the world or trying to advance the story. I'd only recommend this game to somebody who's really into Japanese-style role-playing games who has an Xbox 360 and really has nothing else to play. In the end I'd only really recommend this for a rental."
