Video Feature: JediHD - Jetpac Refuelled HD Video Review Feature [Written 2007-04-10]
Jediskilz173 takes on a blast from the past in his newest HD review of Jetpac Refueled for the Xbox 360 Live Arcade. As always, downloadable 720p video from his server as well as a streaming version for slackers.
Eric a.k.a. Jediskilz173 has filmed a new review for Jetpac Refuelled, a re-envisioning of the old classic ZX Spectrum game that debuted across the pond in 1983. Oh, and your download includes the classic game as well. 720p video? But of course. From Eric's server, linked below as always. Those who are of the weaker sauce can still dive in with streaming video.

Eric says:

"Jetpac Refuelled for the Xbox 360 Live Arcade is one of the retro-revival titles that Microsoft is currently pushing onto the Xbox Live Marketplace. You get two games in one: the original Jetpac game which came out in 1983 on the ZX Spectrum in the UK, and an updated version with new graphics, a few new gameplay mechanics and a ton more levels. There's multiplayer for the updated version, which is a 2-player competitive version of the single player where you compete over who gets the fuel cells. The graphics of the retro one looks like a game from 1983; for the updated version, all the art is hand-drawn with what looks like computer-aided design. The particles for the explosions and the laser effects look really good for an Xbox 360 Arcade title, and the same goes for the sound. The Achievements are moderate in difficulty; you can get about a third of the points on your first playthrough, while the rest of the points will take quite a bit longer to get. The game retails for about $5, and I think that's pretty much in line with the rest of the arcade revivals. It's a bit more game than you usually get compared to the others, so while this game will probably last you maybe a week or so, the value that you get for that $5 is something that I recommend for purchase."
