[PS2] Final Fantasy X-2

:: Posted by SophinaK on 2008-04-02 ::

Final Fantasy X-2 ultimately manages to overcome the girly fluff and provides a unique and satisfying experience.

[PS2] Final Fantasy XII

:: Posted by amlabella on 2007-09-19 ::

Square Enix made a bold move with Final Fantasy XII, but it was the right one. There’s still a great story and compelling characters like most of its predecessors, but with the new combat system, a step in the right direction was made.

[PS2] Guitar Hero II

:: Posted by stevenscott14 on 2007-01-02 ::

Guitar Hero II features contagiously addictive gameplay and a great multiplayer mode in an expanded setlist.

[PS2] Shadow of the Colossus

:: Posted by Ben Lee on 2006-12-05 ::

A hundred feet above the ground.

[PS2] Guitar Hero II: Digital Life 2006 Impressions

:: Posted by MrCHUPON on 2006-10-18 ::

A failing lead guitar player, most likely playing an impossible solo, is bolstered by the accompanying player who's likely playing a less taxing sequence. At the same time, quite a few of the accompanying parts aren't fun if you're used to expert riffs.

[PS2] Final Fantasy XII - Digital Life 2006 impressions

From this point on, anything that started to look like an FMV cutscene was promptly interrupted by a grateful visit to the pause menu. As written in our notebook by The AnTiPoDe: 'pause -> skip is genius'.

[PS2] Mortal Kombat: Armageddon

:: Posted by DrFish62 on 2006-10-12 ::

The Kreate-a-Fatality system amounts to little more than manic button pressing, as nearly any combination of pushes results in some kind of fatality chain. Classic finishers would have added a lot of personality.

[PS2] Gran Turismo 4

:: Posted by Porpuswail on 2006-05-02 ::

A rant to end all rants.

[PS2] Shadow of the Colossus

:: Posted by MrCHUPON on 2006-04-19 ::

No game has really offered the harrowing experience of clinging on for dear life while a mighty, 50-foot tall monstrosity tries to shake your protagonist loose.
