[PC] Deus Ex

:: Posted by MrCHUPON on 2009-08-20 ::

For the player looking to 'Doom 2' his way through the game from the get-go, Deus Ex might seem like a steaming pile. This would be a mistake, because Deus Ex's charms become more apparent as you further immerse yourself in what its multi-faceted experience has to offer.

[PC] Portal

:: Posted by MrCHUPON on 2009-06-16 ::

The gradual, stepping-stone nature of the level progression helps ingrain some specialized instincts--an understanding of 'Portal culture' if you will--that your brain will remember almost reflexively.

[PC] Riven: The Sequel to Myst

:: Posted by SophinaK on 2008-07-21 ::

You wander alone through a decaying Eden.

[PC] Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened

:: Posted by Ben Lee on 2007-08-17 ::

...a gigantic, tentacle-equipped, killer vagina from beyond space and time - so fearsome that according to the creator of this beast, no human can pronounce its alien name.

[PC] Oregon Trail

:: Posted by stayinalive84 on 2006-09-20 ::

There's nothing more cringe-inducing (yet morbidly fascinating) than watching poor little Amy waste away from a random bout of typhoid fever, or young James suddenly keeling over from an apparent outbreak of dysentery.

[PC] Crysis

:: Posted by MrCHUPON on 2007-10-04 ::

Seeing the water and light combination in Crysis was another Wave Race experience all over again.

[PC] Neverwinter Nights

:: Posted by stevenscott14 on 2006-08-14 ::

Every single aspect of Neverwinter Nights has been painstakingly created with the level of craft you'd expect at a master blacksmith's... huge amount of accessibility poured into its depths that help to absorb even the most inexperienced RPG playe r.

[PC] The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

:: Posted by MrCHUPON on 2006-04-01 ::

This is, so far, simply another great addition to any PC RPG library. For 360 owners, I'm betting it's the first true killer-app,

[PC] Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow

:: Posted by MrCHUPON on 2004-09-04 ::

The satisfaction of being able to do certain things to your opponent that they can't do back (at least until the next round) is inexplicably gleeful.

[PC] Need for Speed: Underground

:: Posted by MrCHUPON on 2004-06-01 ::

EA did a great job of making the product like a true videogame version of Fast and the Furious. Problem is, I truly hated that movie with an intense passion. I want those two hours of my life back. ;)
