[NDS] Retro Game Challenge

:: Posted by MrCHUPON on 2010-10-21 ::

There's an attention to detail that makes these games look and play exactly like you'd expect an 80's game to. Some of the creations are good enough to warrant sitting through this game's issues. Just be prepared to grit your teeth as you do.

[NDS] Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney

:: Posted by MrCHUPON on 2009-06-16 ::

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney is NOT a lawyer sim. It is NOT Law and Order: Small Claims Court Investigator Bonanza Dairy Supreme DS.

[NDS] Kirby Canvas Curse

:: Posted by MrCHUPON on 2009-05-10 ::

What HAL Laboratories accomplished with Kirby: Canvas Curse was and is extraordinary; that it hasn’t been aped since is baffling and, ultimately, unfortunate.

[NDS] Dragon Quest IV: Chapters Of The Chosen

:: Posted by MrCHUPON on 2009-05-07 ::

Dragon Quest IV comes off as a feel-good playthrough. It aims to do very certain things, and does them extremely well. The question is whether or not all of said things are relevant enough for you in this day and age.

[NDS] Hotel Dusk: Room 215

:: Posted by SophinaK on 2008-04-22 ::

Hotel Dusk: Room 215 is engrossing, appealing, and outright hard to put down.

[NDS] Brothers in Arms DS

:: Posted by MrCHUPON on 2007-08-06 ::

One memorable moment in particular had me firing a rocket-propelled grenade into a church steeple to take out some Nazis perched within, with the resultant blast completely obliterating the structure into broken chunks of brick.

[NDS] Yoshi's Island DS

:: Posted by Ben Lee on 2007-01-24 ::

Artoon has done horribly in messing up five things about this game. It's still a semi-decent game, but now I can understand why Yoshi's Island DS has garned mixed reactions.

[NDS] Super Mario 64 DS

:: Posted by stevenscott14 on 2006-05-26 ::

At the moment, Super Mario 64 DS is a very impressive game which goes to show how far gaming has advanced since Mario graced this games' original platform, the Nintendo 64.

[NDS] Metroid Prime: Hunters

:: Posted by MrCHUPON on 2006-04-21 ::

If the single player game continues its current trend, there's no doubt that I will want a better effort for any sequel NST decides to develop.

[NDS] Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow

:: Posted by MrCHUPON on 2005-10-19 ::

Dawn of Sorrow does not reinvent the wheel. What it does do is take the GBA's Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow's core and pump it up with steroids.
