[SNES] Final Fantasy III (VIj)

:: Posted by MrCHUPON on 2009-09-02 ::

It's the combination of things that Final Fantasy III does so well--the multiple stories that it tells and experiences that it offers--that makes it not only a defining moment in the series, but an important piece of role-playing history.

[SNES] Bill Laimbeer's Combat Basketball

:: Posted by MrCHUPON on 2008-02-12 ::

Words.

[SNES] Chrono Trigger

:: Posted by MrCHUPON on 2006-04-25 ::

For every time you wish there were more weapons, spells and dimensions to your character, there is a moment that tugs at you. Whenever you start to wonder if the adventure could have used more intricate time-traveling butterfly effects, the cleverness of the puzzles that are there will convince you that it matters not.

[SNES] The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past

:: Posted by MrCHUPON on 2004-07-15 ::

It's one of those games where you go back to find what you hadn't on the first try, yet doesn't make acquiring items such a hassle that you just decide to give up.

[SNES] Super Mario RPG: The Legend of the Seven Stars

:: Posted by MrCHUPON on 2004-07-15 ::

What gives the game a kick outside of battles ... is the Mario goodness that oozes out of the cart ... jumping here and there, popping coins from question mark boxes, finding hidden boxes and climbing vines.
