Squenix Proposes Foray Into Hardware Market

:: Posted by AnTiPoDe on 2006-08-09 :: Yoichi Wada, president of Square-Enix, discussed plans to develop a device akin to the iPod and Nintendo DS according to a transcript of a Nikkei Business Online interview. According to the article courtesy of next-gen.biz, Wada states that the acquisition of Taito (done in September 2005) will realize these plans, and "ideas for an actual physical product have come up."
