AT A GLANCE aesthetics GRAPHICS: Nothing to marvel at, as generic as early 80s sprites can be, but better looking than the original NES and GBA versions of the game. SOUND: A few cool sound effects, but nothing to jump for joy over. execution GAMEPLAY: Extremely challenging shooting action that totally makes for the lack of flair in the graphical and sound departments. VALUE: One of the most influential shooters in video game history for 400 MS points? Sign me up! OVERALL Killer gameplay and immense challenge never get old and for that reason Xevious is still an enticing entry to the X-Box Live Arcade.
