AT A GLANCE aesthetics GRAPHICS: Striking attention to detail to structures with sharp textures and traversable architecture; fluid, natural free-running animations for Altair. SOUND: Moody, ambient music and decent voice acting is muddled by a deadpan protagonist and repeating voice samples. execution GAMEPLAY: Could be considered the Prince of Persia for this generation, making free-running and climbing feel intuitive and empowering. VALUE: Clocking in at around ten hours, there's a decent amount of content in here--but so much of it feels recycled throughout the game. OVERALL A great concept that never reaches its promise, Assassin's Creed still does some things for platforming that are worth experiencing for some time.
